Review of Deliver Us from Evil (1973) by Shadow L — 08 May 2007
This one was good, but didn't bowl me over. I thought while watching it that, of course, if you center the doc on two people who are bitter and damaged from what happened, it's going to bring about emotion.
Only it didn't with me. It felt fake, almost created. O'Grady is a maniac for sure, but the people who were highlighted in the film did not garner sympathy from me. Seemed staged. And I said two because the boy seemed like someone who just wanted to get on camera and not someone who had been molested.
