Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Ian S — 21 Aug 2008
This movie is so attractive for so many different reasons. The musical interludes involving bedsprings, saws, and cellos? Yeah, totally awesome. I mean, c'mon, the main character is a former clown.
What is really amazing about this film is its artful shooting style and lighting. This quirkfest of a flick is by far one of the most mindblowingly amazing films I've seen in a long time.
I need more Jeunet.
