Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Vincent B — 22 Oct 2008
Jean-Pierre Jeunet is one of my favorite directors. He has a visual flair that cannt be matched by most. This story was incredibly dark, but funny, and it had such a beautiful look. He made a man being slaughtered by a butcher in a trash can look like a piece of art.
wtf. It was a little over-written, but I can forgive it. I was confused watching it too, but I was really tired, so that is not the film's fault, thats mine. It was also a little too strange/quirky for me, which I usually enjoy very much.
See it haha it's crazy.
