Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Nisrin A — 20 Dec 2010
In the middle of a musty post-apocalyptic town where food is currency, lies an old beaten down Delicatessen; filled with tastefully peculiar tenants...
Well, this one was hell of an odd film. Very very maniacal, and fun!
It's weirdness makes this one a truly remarkable film. Anyway, the setting and all is just great. The characters - also, very awesome! A very interesting movie indeed. Some decent acting in here as well. Definitely a very entertaining film, that is very grotesque and bizarre in a good way. This movie is quite out of the ordinary, and also worth checking out if you like unusual films. A movie filled with ridiculousness for sure. It was very humorous at times too. Not to mention, darned creepy. Overall, this was a very good film, it is of course, worth checking out. And a very fun movie to watch indeed. People really need to learn from this film to make more tasteful, obscure, fun, and out of wack movies!
