Review of Delicatessen (1991) by Camille L — 20 Aug 2011
Delicatessen is one of those rare movies that is a piece of art while maintaining a sick sense of humor. This cannibalistic masterpiece had my heart at the opening credits. It's a movie that puts you through every spectrum of emotion, but never brings you down.
With the spastic camera work of Jean-Pierre Jeunet and the one-of-a-kind writing of Gilles Adrien, you end up with a film for the ages. This is definitely one of my favorites.
