Review of Delgo (2008) by Phil P — 08 Sep 2009
Given the high number of characters (none of which had a personality) for a kid's movie, Delgo felt like a rejected Final Fantasy. Its dialog and weak attempts at humor gave it a bit of an Uwe Boll feeling to it (although this movie is MUCH better than anything he poops out).
Every vocal performance had an unmotivated and lacking feel to it and the main character looks like an anorexic Ninja Turtle. But, it was short and so bad that it entertained enough that I didn't shut it off.
I would also like to mention that this is one of the only kids movies I remember in recent history in which a character has a gambling problem... if you find that funny, this movie may be worth wasting 90 minutes of your time.
