Decent flick that attempts to return to the formula of 80's cartoons: Tell a decent story, remove as much actual death as possible, and have some sort of moral lesson.
As to moral lessons, this follows and even mixes many old formulas: Peasant plus princess, downtown plus uptown, breaking of racial barriers, racial tension, Democracy vs Monarchy, Buddism, Christianity, treachery, misunderstandings, war...all that rolls together to come to a nice little happy ending which the kids will enjoy.
