Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by Rasputin — 05 Dec 2006
Anything blowing up when you least expect it is scary. However, we didn't know any of the characters on board. They played it to the hilt with little children and teachers having fun. Of course they never explain why any of this is happening only that Denzel has the hots with his DeJa Hocus Pocus for some dead chick who he knows absolutely nothing about.
It is Denzel playing detective risking his life supposedly, as we know he is never going to die, well sort of, ha-ha, for a woman whose character is never developed. And what was up with that ending? Did all the scientists fade into blackness.
This movie is one big great mess in that we care nothing for anyone. About 30 minutes into this crapola you will be looking at your watch. After an hour you know you have been had by the studio that produced this turkey.
Avoid at all costs. You have been warned.
