Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by Bill P — 14 Jan 2012
I just loved it, so simple as that. First of all, this movie has a great cast, Denzel just keeps surprising me with his wonderful acting, Paula Patton, wich I didn't know, also had a great acting even though she didn't have a big role, so has Val Kilmer and the rest of the cast was also good.
I just loved the concept of this movie, I just tottally did, it's really my type of movie with a mistery that will let you tottally entartained. Doug Carlon is a federal agent who is is in charge of a ferry boat explosian with 543 people in it, he will find out what happened through a top-secret government progam who films everything that happened in the last four and a half days, wich will help Doug and other agents (Val Kilmer, etc.
) finding the terrorit who bombed the ferry and who is related to the dead woman Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton), killed by the terrorist. All those agents will have to watch what happened in those days without rewind or pass forward or even pause, but after the mission is complete and the terroritst was found, Doug Carlin entered into the past trying to change everything that happened and save Claire.
Sow, overall, this is one of the best thriller movies I have ever seen, I mean, I just loved the concept, in the first five minutes I was already attached to this movie and I was always entartained but never bored, but one thing is for sure, this movie is a bit confusing.
And I think that the only that I didn't like about this movie were... the credits. I am probably going to watch it again. Extremely recommended, one of the best movies I have ever seen. Very recommended.
Grade: A+.
