Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by Matt M — 29 Jan 2013
Tony Scott and Denzel Washington together again after Man On Fire, in a stylish thriller about a new government technique that could prevent a ferry from exploding and killing 500 innocent people in an already post-Katrina New Orleans.
The film is stylish and interesting on a visual point of view, but it seems more centred around the overwhelming filmmaking style of Tony Scott than the plot itself, which is quite confusing and filled with the inevitable imperfections one would expect out of a time-travel based storyline.
