Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by Nathan T — 05 May 2013
An interesting and innovative concept, told in an engaging way. it took me a while to get into the film, but I did find it engaging.
My only problem is that there is a lot of loopholes and unanswered questions. it is believable in terms of acting, and the fact that not everything is explained to a T is both a strength and a weakness, as it can leave the viewer frustrated but contains that vital air of mystery.
I think it could have shown more from others perspectives, and this concept could have been told in a completely different film, playing on the whole 'feeling of being watched', which proves the originality.
An exciting, engaging action thriller that is good enough in itself, but could have had just a little more.
