Review of Déjà Vu (2006) by James W — 20 Nov 2013
Frustratingly convoluted, Déjà Vu is a definitive total mind bender that will either satisfy you or piss you off not knowing what the hell is going on. I think I did, but despite the hard to get your head around premise Tony Scott provides extreme action and surprising emotion, and eventually the confusing time travel part of the film is explained which allows you to stop thinking, catch up with everything else that is going on and enjoy the beauty of Paula Patton and some blistering action scenes, and most importantly, enjoy the film.
