Review of Definitely, Maybe (2008) by Patricia N — 27 Feb 2010
I love this, I seriously do! I love Reynolds and his fatherly relationship with his daughter played by Breslin and I find that adorably cute too! Its one of those fathers really dread explaining the birds and the bees to their kids, esp if it is their daughters! The journey of self-realisation and exploration of pasts and feelings came to life in this movie.
I like how the story shifts and moves fitting into the time pattern. It also shows typical men just do not understand the language of women and Reynolds play the part of good boyfriend, good father really well but as husband? Banks, Fisher and Weisz were indeed in their own element and great character flow.
I like how well they all fit in together. Indeed its a heartwarming story with simple love story of a divorced man telling a bedtime story to his daughter pertaining to his love life, only to find what he has been missing out.
Worth watching this over again!
