Hereâ(TM)s something I really donâ(TM)t expect to see: a movie that is in all intents and purposes, stylewise and in tone, a romantic comedy that is a really good film. No indie aesthetics, no artsy approach, but a romantic comedy employing the tools commonly used in this unfortunate genre.
But utilizing them damn well. A wonderful cast, sharp dialog and an ability to surprise carry âDefinitely Maybe,â? which isnâ(TM)t afraid to be both entertaining and smart, traditional but gutsy. And one never grows tired of Ryan Reynolds.
