Review of Defendor (2009) by Dutch V — 28 Jun 2010

This movie contains a very interesting concept and really an interesting story. This movie is really unique because half the time I don't know whether I should be laughing or crying. Woody Harrelson is absolutely incredible in this movie and he really pulls this character off.

This movie offers such an interesting and original scope on the super hero idea and what society holds acceptable. Also it shows another look at the kind of person that would don a costume. Watchmen has the mentally unstable, Kick Ass has the loser, and Defendor has probably the most lovable of all.

Harrelson as a very slow character who wishes to help society as well as avenge his mother. This movie however is not exactly one to watch expecting something like Kick Ass. Nor should you going into this expecting that he is as talented as someone who dons a costume.

All in all I found this movie to be very good and certainly one that I will have to watch again. Check this one out.
