Review of Defendor (2009) by Cory W — 20 Jun 2010
A serious drama disguised as a super hero comedy. Woody Harrelson is in top form as usual. Kat Dennings also does a great job portraying her type of character. I have to say, however, that I was disappointed.
I was expecting allot more from this film. They could have developed some of the characters a little more. Ultimately, everyone was saying this was a dark comedy but it did not have that impression on me.
The laughs were very few, which is fine, but the story did not make up for it. Overall, this movie is flawed, but what saves it is Woody Harrelson's passionate performance as Defendor.
