Review of Defending Your Life (1991) by Prentis C — 13 May 2010
This was an interesting take on the afterlife of humans. The plot was very unique and was probably the only "afterlife" film that I've ever seen.
The concept that I liked the most was the review of one's life in a imaginary court scene. How creepy would it be to go back and view episodes of past events? I sure would be irked by the idea. Especially so if they reviewed embarassing events of my life.
However intersting this film was, it still lacked some details that would have greatly benefited the film. The tram cars driving around seemed really obsolote and extremely anti-futuristic. Then again it was 1991...
Good movie and plot. I'd reccommend people to see it.
