I was impressed, and rivetted by the action in Deepwater Horizon. Long ago as a teenager I worked as a roughneck on a land-based drill rig in British Columbia. When we hit natural gas the pipe rumbled and started coming up out of the hole - but the BOP worked.
The movie was real enough to bring back that sense of terror surrounding the incredible pressure that can irrupt from the earth below.
