Thrilling, yet tedious. In lieu of any intimate character development, the first half hour of the film is dedicated to blatant foreshadowing of the impending disaster. Once shit hits the fan, it's nonstop explosions, fire, shattered glass, blood, and tears till the end of the film.

While the action was invigorating, the mere duration of it prevented any feelings of remorse for the fallen heroes. If machismo disaster survival movies are your schtick, sure, this one will do the trick.
