Review of DeepStar Six (1989) by Dino B — 30 May 2018
Something still magical and "cheese" worthy about the sci-fi and adventure films of the 1970's and 80's because they use 'practical' special effects and minimal crayon colored simple digital effects, that said most of the casts are pretty simple minded characters bordering on dumb and or aggressive and even stereotypical to a fault.
Deep Star Six like Leviathan are deep water predictable stories that offer little smarts and few scares but remain wonderful fun films of our youth.
