Review of Deep Impact (1998) by Kris M — 30 Jan 2009
An ok disaster movie soiled by coming out the same time as that other meteor film Armageddon (short for 'Ahmagettin alot of noisy explosions for my buck!) This swapped the 'wow factor' FX for a plot and acting of more substance.
True- there are a few moments of absolute popcorn here, but outside of those you get a fair hour and a half of decent cinema.
