I'm pretty sure if Mimi Leder didn't direct this crap, it would sustain. At least 'Armageddon' - Michael Bay have an emotion thrill in it, whether here in Deep Impact it's totally bogus, shallow and intensely stupid. Oh and Elijah Wood and Leelee Sobieski scene should be regarded as the dumbest portrayal in movie history.
