Review of Deep Impact (1998) by Jamie J — 19 May 2012

I dunno why this seems to get a bit of a rough ride in regards to opinions, I always preferred Deep Impact to Armageddon, cheesy as it is at least this film had some heart to it. Armageddon to me was just OTT Hollywoodised nonsense.

Disaster movies have to be taken in small doses though, as there are so many of the bloody things now, but at the time Deep Impact was rather enjoyable, and although it probably plays fast and loose with the science at least it entertains even now.
