Review of Deep Impact (1998) by Grant K — 26 Mar 2013
Although there's a lot wrong with this film, it's worth watching if only for the fact it takes a realistic, humanistic approach to an asteroid striking earth, not a gung-ho "Michael Bay" explosion filled ride through idiocy.
The performances are solid, and the last twenty minutes are technologically mindblowing. It's a times boring, but it's a worthwhile picture.
