Review of Deep Blue Sea (1999) by Joseph M — 17 Aug 2011
A group of scientists studying genetically mutated sharks become trapped and must fight for their lives as the sharks they are studying break free and turn against them!
A modern day 'Jaws', 'Deep Blue Sea' boasts some impressive effects of some of the most monstrous sharks ever seen on screen!
The story isn't brilliant, but the action is fun and there's plenty of gore to go round!
Thomas Jane and Saffron Burrows lead the cast with Samuel L. Jackson also starring as a side role.
An enjoyable film with lots of action and lots and lots of water!
