Review of Dedication (2007) by Kirk H — 11 Jul 2008
Ok so I love anything with Mandy Moore in it, but this movie was shockingly good. Not the hollywood cheese I was expecting, it actually has serious depth in story and in character potrayls and definitely isn't a typical love story.
The cinematography is fantastic and combined with the edgy editing and non-linear narrative, it's visually and conceptually beautiful. Mandy is PERFECT as an edgy/rock-chick city girl come illustrator and the guy that plays Henry is marvelous.
Outstanding on any terms but ESPECIALLY for those of you expecting a typical Mandy Moore flick.
