Review of Dedication (2007) by Kyle R — 03 Sep 2008
Crudup plays crude like no other. The disgust in his voice and hateful one liners are bitter pills to swallow, and only Mandy Moore has the power to calm his callous quips. A dreary approach to a romantic comedy, "Dedication" manages to squeeze some joy into sour sentiment and raise the bar with dead on performances all around.
Moore should be with the MVPs in the romantic comedy field. Wilkinson and Wiest's major league expertise easily hit it out of the park in this minor league flick.
