Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Edgar C — 11 Mar 2010
Surreal, underrated and incredibly smart self-analytical comedy. Allen is a genius, no doubt about that. Analyzing the psychological weaknesses of the female species (:P) and making it collide with man's own egoism and existentialist internal issues, oh well... Who else could achieve that if not the master of intellectual comedy? Extraordinary tour de force and among Allen's most underappreciated signs of originality.
82/100.
