Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Patrick F — 25 Jun 2007
Funny and unusually smarmy Woody Allen film that is perhaps his most personal. Although I never thought I'd say this, Robin Williams is the highlight of this film - he plays an actor who can't seem to find focus in his life - literally.
It's a good film, and the strange editing style may seem jarring at first, but there's a method to Allen's madness (though I'm still not sure if it actually worked or not). Not his best film, but definitely worth a look.
