Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Tyler M — 29 Jun 2007
One of Woody's most graphic movies, in terms of language and sexual content, but also one of his most intriguing. Most of the movie deals with the gray area between the artist and his creations, how much of the creator is his finished product, etc.
This is especially interesting since portions of this film seem to mirror the common conceptions of Woody's 'real life,' (as opposed to how he presents himself in his films.) There are good cameos by people like Tobey Maguire and Julia Louise-Dreyfus, too.
