Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Manuel F — 08 Sep 2007
Well worth watching, if only for Judy Davis and her unsupassable delivery of the line "Excuse me?!" (We rewound this and cracked up several times) A very accessible effort from Mr Allen, with a celebrity- studded-cameo cast.
I also liked his stylistic homage to the jumpy flickering days of early cinema Thought the "guy dies along the way on road trip" was a bit of a cliche though.Fave quote: "Your values are nihilism, cynicism, sarcasm and orgasm" "I could use that as a slogan in France and get elected".
