Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Mark D — 05 Nov 2007
Not for everyone but once you get used to the quick rough cuts this movie is phenomenal. My wife and I are going to buy this movie on our next trip to the video store. Most excellent. Everyone (well most people anyway) should be able to identify with Harry on some level.
Harry is one of the more interesting characters Woody Allen has created as he breeds just the right amount of contempt and sympathy in a neurotic pill popping writer on the verge of any number of breakdowns.
