Review of Deconstructing Harry (1997) by Ben W — 15 Mar 2009
One of woody allens least cohesive works, I think. its unfortunate because this was packed with good jokes and a fun concept for a plot. I was a bit surprised to hear so much cursing as well, since most of his other films have very little.
not that it bothered me, I was just surprised. I liked the whole deconstruction idea and the fragmented editing made it fun, but some parts didnt seem to add up the way id hoped. but it was still fun to watch.
I dont care what anyone says, ive never seen a horrible movie that he made. and ive almost seen every last one.
