A true Woddyesque piece of art. Acid, raw, cruel, dry and fast-paced is what makes Harry one of Woody Allen's most notorius films in his repertoire.

Set a few months after the Mia Farrow/Soon-Yi scandal, Mr. Allen, depicted as his alter ego Harry Block, deconstructs the life of a troubled neurotic novelist which has lived a life that to some would be rather pathetic.

Harry stands out as a writer whose numerous works have been heavily based on his life. That of an insecure, paranoid man who has a taste for the self desaprecation that he takes out on pills and hookers.

The line of events in which the movie is set puts Harry about to recieve a conmemoration by his previous university, all the while he carries with three failed marriages, the one women he seriuosly loved but who ultimately left him for his best friend, a sister that doesn't approve his ways and a long line of people whom Harry has disturbed.

Along the movie we're presented several times with that classic Woody Allen humour, but for the first time, he actually goes beyond with the script to a point that you can feel him analyzing the audience with the movie.

It sets the record for me as I haven't seen any other film of his were he comunicates so much. The script is genius and the acting is superb. I'd go on further with this movie but what's the point on spoiling it for everyone, it's just incredible.
