Woody at his most mean-spirited and coarse, with extremely hit or miss results. I do love Harry Block's visit to hell, and the scene where Woody, Bob Balaban, child actor Eric Lloyd and a black prostitute named Cookie sing "When the Red Red Robbin Comes Bob Bob Bobbin Along" is so gloriously bizarre that it kind of redeems the whole film.
