Review of Decision at Sundown (1957) by Daniel W — 23 Nov 2008
Not your usual B-picture Western fare.
What starts out as a seemingly simple revenge story involving Randolph Scott arriving in the town of Sundown in order to kill the man (John Carroll) who he believes had a hand in his wife's death, quickly unfolds revealing not only Scott's and Carroll's dark secret's but the entire town's as well.
Another understated yet absolutely brilliant western from the team of star Randolph Scott and director Budd Boetticher.
