Review of Deception (2008) by Daphne M — 13 Feb 2009
As thriller's go, this one is fairly ordinary. Very predictable, and somewhat unsurprising, it's at least fun. Both actors deliver solid, convincing performances - Jackman in his portrayal of a charismatic sociopath, and McGregor in his portrayal of a naive innocent.
Despite not being wowed by this film, I still quite enjoyed it.
