I tried to like this movie... I really really did. I mean, it had Ewan McGregor in some sexy scenes and had a thriller/twisty plot that could have worked... but didn't. The pacing was horrible. I'm not opposed to slower moments in a film that are important to exposition, etc.
.. but it feels like it's forever before this movie takes off and even then, it plummets to the ground again. When there is finally some action happening, it's poorly executed. I did enjoy some things: (spoiler warning.
.. not that it matters - you shouldn't watch this movie anyway) the underground sex club and the con artist stuff... and those elements would have worked in a solid plot and under better direction.
