It takes a while for this movie to actually go anywhere, and by the time it makes its point, you've lost interest. The jump from adolescence to old age leaves the audience wondering, "What happened during the last 60 years?" Maps went to Africa? Whatever happened to Lucy? They apparently didn't feel compelled to tie up any loose ends.
