Review of December Boys (2007) by Steve K — 16 Mar 2008
I think this movie wasa decent movie. honestly I thought driving lessons was better for the potter kids. although daniel radcliffe is not a bad actor he did pretty good in his co-star role. some guy posted this isnt how orphanages is, well its set in australia I believe, and back in the time period when this was set, that was how parents picked the kids.
It was a good movie about bonding and family and what family means.
Is family the nuclear tradition? And if it is, is that the best choice for some people?
I think the problem with the film was that you didnt really see much of the other two kids besides misty and maps. and they didnt seem to "bond" much, it was just written poorly, but I could see where it was going if it had better writing to it.
