Review of Deceiver (1997) by David W — 27 Mar 2008
Tim roth hooked up to a lie detector has a war of wits against two cops played by chris penn and michael rooker, brought in for a murder of a prostitute played by renee zelwegger, is he guilty or inocent, but what does matter is what hes got or trying to do to the two cops, emotions and past encounters come to the table, well acted all round, very tense moments while in room, and also very engageing outside room, as we delve into there lives and the past, arguably one of roths best performances, really keeping you guessing to what his motives are, if any, a good little murder mystery thrown in, and zellwegger when she was actually a good actress.
