Review of D.E.B.S. (2003) by Manny C — 12 Apr 2011
How can a flick about hot schoolgirls recruited by the feds to fight crime as D.E.B.S. (Discipline, Energy, Beauty, Strength) not be sinful fun? Well, sadly it isn't very much fun, just rather inane.
The girls are tasked with going after Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), a thief who ensnares D.E.B.S. Amy (Sara Foster) into her lesbian games. Amy's fellow D.E.B.S.--Meagan Good, Jill Ritchie and Devon Aoki--pout about the situation at first but eventually accept it.
This dull satire from writer-director Angela Robinson should be way more fun than it actually is.
