A joyous and gleeful splatter-fest concerning heavy metal and demonology, equal parts funny, gory and insane. There's giddy, inventive fun to be had in a film very much in debt to Sam Raimi & Peter Jackson's earlier works.
And finally a movie that properly exploits that most prevalent of fandom crossovers: metalheads and horror hounds. A real treat amongst the recent glut of po-faced, serious horrors.
