Review of Death Wish 3 (1985) by Brett B — 11 Nov 2007

Easily the most entertaining of the Death Wish movies, and also the most completely ridiculous. The area of NYC that this takes place in is about the worst possible neighborhood that has ever been conceived.

This movie also just completely cuts the bullshit, as it isn't even 3 minutes into the movie that Bronson's friend has already been murdered and he wants to start up the vigilantism again. I love how blunt the movies message is, in that if everyone took the law into their own hands the world would be a better place.

Seeing senior citizens plow down 'those damn punk kids' with machine guns is hysterical. There is also nothing like Bronson firing a rocket launcher at thugs from point blank range.
