Better than I expected. It's a remake but puts a modern update on a classic. Also, there is a level of social commentary on the failed gun control policies and crime rates in Chicago that I wasn't expecting, but was pleasantly surprised to see/hear.
The ending is a little too tidy, but overall a pretty good action film.
