Eli does a great job with this remake and Bruce Willis gives anice performance as Paul Kersey. I would recommend this movie to both fans of the original movie and for those that never saw the 1974 classic.
Because the film's theme runs counter to the country's current insane PC culture, expect the majority of critics to continue to savage it. Ignore them and go see a very well made , entertaining film.
