Saw the movie tonight, any movie where a man protects his family...I enjoy it.
Was it a great movie, no, but I enjoyed it because Bruce took care of business and protected his own at the end.
For a Violante movie, it had some pretty funny Dark humor parts to it.
Saw the original in the 70s, Charles Bronson did not bring any dark humor to the movie.
I think Death Wish in the 70s was one of the first successfully "Modern Day Vengeance" movies. Westerns had many movies like, but do not remember any other Modern Day (New York, Chicago...ETC) type movies.
