Review of Death Wish (2018) by Filipe C — 15 Mar 2018
Unlike many of the so-called professional reviewers, I thought the movie was good. Not overly fantastic, and certainly not the most moving movie I've ever seen. But given our culture, I think a movie such as this one is desperately needed.
The days of taking matters into one's own hands has sadly eroded in our culture. The political left would have us believe guns and violence are an abnormality in society, an evil. While violence certainly is an unfortunate aspect of society, it is not abnormal.
Violence has existed from the dawn of mankind and will exist until the end of man. What is a man to do when violence comes up his driveway? I say there is only one thing a man can do, and that is defend his family, by any means necessary.
Nice to see a movie that promotes this instead of perpetuating a liberal agenda.
