By-the-numbers forgettable revenge flick (straight from 2006) with Eli Roth's usual overindulgent torture porn fetish and a charmless and tired Bruce Willis sleepwalking each scene. D'Onofrio gives an enjoyable performance, the gore is sorta fun in places and it's always nice to see Elisabeth Shue (even though she was kinda bad here), but there's nothing of merit in what Death Wish (2018) has to offer.
