Review of Death Wish (1974) by John O — 15 Mar 2012
Death Wish, could have been one hell of film, before watching it, I had always thought about very dramatic film, that might give revenge a kind of shape, but revenge could have been from those who were reponsible for the death of his wife and mistreatment of his daughter, this is where I totally got distracted from the character of Charles Bronson. It carries too many deaths, although the city blows trumpets of mugging dropping down, yet here we find many muggers popping up very often just within 15 minutes.
Charles Bronson gives beautiful performance, but the plot of the film is too risky. Even then it is kind of one of great films, and entertaining in some aspects.
